Lexi and her daddy have been getting in tons of playtime while I am at work and it shows how happy he makes her! She is ALWAYS smiling at him when he talks to her or plays with her. She is truly daddys little girl. Her face just lights up when she sees him. It is so adorable. This past weekend he had her on his belly while he was lying down and she was just full of smiles and giggles!

This past weekend she was just full of smiles no matter what she was doing. I caught her with a few smiles as she was playing on her play mat. She doesn't last long on the play mat anymore because she enjoys sitting up and playing with her rattles and watching whatever is on tv. But she still manages to play on it for a few minutes at a time. Especially if you play her little boom box...which she LOVES!! Thanks Aunt Courtney :)

This past Friday we made the decision to move her back to her crib. We were excited to get our room back, but also sad to not have her there with us at night. We expected it to be a hard process and that we would be up most of the night for a while. But, knock on wood, she has proven us wrong. Last night for instance she went to bed at 7:30 p.m. and stirred around 9:45 p.m. (John went in and gave her paci back to her) and then didn't wake up until 2:50 a.m. to eat (she never really cried though...but wimpered so we knew it was time to eat). Then went back to sleep around 3:25 a.m. and slept until 6:30 a.m. So we only had to go in once to comfort her...not too bad!!! So hopefully the trend keeps up. That would be nice if the transition goes easy :) I do miss her not being next to me but it IS really nice to be able to read a little in bed after she goes to sleep.
